Overview

Nriz-bōm Qo̠ was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1365, by Ma̋mbónḱ Méoidīs 'Pearllilyz Sweetmess' Ré̄nḱ Nī̄̄kīy Rä̂fér Crosrebu. The establishment of Nriz-bōm Qo̠ was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Nriz-bōm Qo̠'s construction back out of the project. Ma̋mbónḱ Méoidīs 'Pearllilyz Sweetmess' Ré̄nḱ Nī̄̄kīy Rä̂fér Crosrebu pushed on reguardles, and Nriz-bōm Qo̠ was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Nriz-bōm Qo̠ was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nriz-bōm Qo̠ is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Nriz-bōm Qo̠ is is constructed arround a semi-circular restrictive paverstone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Nriz-bōm Qo̠ weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. Astonishigly, the budget focused millitary grade defenses are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Right off the bat Nriz-bōm Qo̠ hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this city has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The influx of wealth has brought with it an influx of relaxation. Everywhere you look people are enjoying their prosperity in a slow, casual, and deliberate manner. There’s no rush for anything anywhere you look.

Cultural Notes

Nriz-bōm Qo̠'s chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
